Bottle. Golden colour with a formation of white head that quickly diminishes. Aroma is herbal and with notes of hay. Flavour is light cerealish and slightly maty. Carbonation is medium.

My son has moved to a new area in London and is now surrounded by Eastern Europeans, I picked up this beer and a few others when visiting the other week. Half litre green bottle, best before 25 May 2011, drank and reviewed late April 2011. The label claimed 5.4% ABV. Pale gold in colour, wispy white head and collar: no lacing and what head there was left after ten seconds! No aroma, gets my regular 3 for a non-smelling pils/lager. Hops fairly prominent, but not really strong or heavy in any aspect of the beers flavours or taste, you just knew they were there. The drying aftertaste didn’t help this beers cause and although it would obviously be refreshing on a hot summers day it didn’t flaot my boat in any way at all.

Can, 500 ml, best before 04.09.2012, purchased at the LCBO, savoured March 3 2012; eye: golden, clear, minimal effervescence, thin sheet of white head, no lacing; nose: citrus, light hops, slight malt; mouth: citrus, slight hops, grain, finale in grain with presence of caramel, light body, rather carbonated, slightly bitter and sweet, grainy texture; overall: correct FRANÇAIS Canette, 500 ml, meilleure avant04.09.2012, achetée à la LCBO, savourée le 3 mars 2012; œil : dorée, limpide, effervescence minime, mince couverture de mousse blanche, pas de dentelle; nez : citron, léger houblon, très léger malt; bouche : citron, léger houblon, grain, finale en grain avec présence de caramel, corps léger, plutôt carbonatée, très légèrement amère et sucrée, texture granuleuse; en résumé : correct

Auch wenn dieses Bier im Ausland noch sehr unbekannt ist, so ist es in Rumänien in jedem Mini-Geschäft zu finden. Es ist, meiner Meinung nach, das beste Industriebier des Landes. Ein klassisches, solides Helles mit angenehmen Geschmack und einer frischen Spirtzigkeit.

Mild herber Beginn, muffig. Dann trocken werdend, gleichzeitig steigt die Herbe. Das Bier bleibt aber laff und nicht ganz harmonisch. Wässriger, gering herb-würziger Abgang. Noch trinkbar. 7/6/7/6/6/6

Not really that bad for a pale lager, honestly just bought this can because it was from Romania but its less bad than I thought. You can almost taste a touch of hops...
