Light green onion, so a NEIPA in that sense. Not hazy--pours clear golden with decent head. Not really concerned about the look, don't need my ipas murky. A little orange peel. Just not a lot to this. Can.

473ml can. Pours a clear amber brown with a medium, creamy, long lasting, beige head that leaves curtains of lace. Mild sweet aroma of toasted bready wheat malt, nuts, raisin and milk chocolate. Sweet flavour of toasted bready wheat malt, caramel, plum and milk chocolate in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a soft, creamy, smooth body and soft carbonation. A fairly quaffable offering.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy amber red with a medium, foamy, short lived, pale pink head that laces. Sweet fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, raspberry jam and light floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy wheat malt, raspberry and floral hops in a dry, mild bitter, slightly tart finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Pretty basic, but refreshing and crushable. Raspberry seemed authentic.

Sweet flavour of roasted malt, molasses, dark chocolate, licorice, dates and ash in a dry, bitter coffee finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. A little thin for the style, but still ok.

On tap at the brewpub. Slight haze. Medium head. Pale amber colour. The aroma is fruity. On the palate, it's malt-accented, the fermentation seems maybe not weizenbock...more like clean ale yeast, with a little plastic stickiness. The body is a bit wheaty, but with toast and caramel from the darker malts. It's something of an unorthodox interpretation...not necessarily bad but not really aiming for the apex of the style either.
