Bottle thanks to Jared. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong roast coffee, vanilla, dark chocolate. Thick mouth, roast, dark chocolate, nice bitterness, hides alcohol well, really enjoyed this.

Can shared by Kyle, thanks! Pours a near clear light gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has notes of grass a and light citrus with a sweet grains backbone. Flavor has more of a earthy juicy citrus with some sweet grains and some light grass.

Growler from Joe Canal’s in Iselin, NJ. Pours a dense black brown color with a moderate rocky tan head. Rich roasted malt nose has notes of earthy malt, oats and toasted walnuts. Flavor follows the nose with hints of tobacco, sweet chocolate and medium roast coffee. This is an excellent representation of an American Stout. Sweet, complex, earthy, flavorful and drinkable. Worth seeking out.

Boise Imperial Stout Tasting. Deep dark brown color with a thin brown cap. Nose is roasty, mildly sweet. Rich espresso in the nose and into the taste... A big ole milk stout/Porter. Sweet and roasty, a little ash. Great coffee flavor.

(Thanks, Ed! "Ed5388") Bottle. A- Coffee, subtle floral notes, roasty, slighly bitter, dry cocoa. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Coffee, chocolate, roasty, slightly bitter, very subtle blueberry. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, complex finish. O- What an excellent damn beer this was. The cap was on so tight I broke my opener and thought this better be delicious. It was. Everything was perfectly balanced and a beautiful beer in every way. Hard to find anything wrong with this and I usually am a tough rater.

Bottle courtesy of Carl. Pours viscous oily black with a small mocha head that doesnät leave much trace on the glass while dissiapting. Smell is malty with roasted malts, burnt caramel, vanilla fudge, charred wood, tons of oily high quality cocoa powder, espresso coffee, roasted coconut, moist soil and hints of bourbon alcohol. Taste is sweet, heavy bitter and malty. Mouthfeel is soft, round, heavy oily, astringent, tiny boozy and near full bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with almost all oily bitter cocoa powder. Strange one... The hefty sweetness makes it feel a bit thin and sugary while at the same time the extremely oily cocoa powder character makes for a very fat mouthfeel. Quite good but also a bit all over the place. Would like to try the base some time for comparison.
