Old rating - A pint at the Lamplighter in St Helier, Jersey. First taste of this newish beer from Liberation & honestly I was very unimpressed. Watery appearance & tasted mildly of dishwater, it did improve somewhat. My friend was trying the Dark Star Hophead on my advice & this was far superior.

Old rating - I've had this 500mm bottle a number of times, tonight it was my beer of choice at The Beaumont, St Peter, Jersey. A solid golden ale.

Old rating - On cask the first occasion I came across it, in the Farmer's Inn, St Ouen. Also had a bottle in my home on 28-09-2017. Different bottle in my home 1486. Quite a heavy ale, and one of my least favourite from the Liberation range

Old rating - From the cask at the Lamplighter, notes of bread and cereal. Tastes a little off with basement aromas hitting you, it improves a little as I plough though it. Not something I'd have a 2nd off.

7.3/10 Appearance 7 Aroma 7 Flavor 7 Texture 8 Overall 7.5
Old rating - A golden ale available in bottle and on draft in pubs on Jersey. It's brewed using the maris otter & lager malt, golden hops provide bitterness while Syrian goldings and Hallertau Hersbrucker hops provide aroma. It's has a hint of citrus on the nose. It's a morish beer, with one often leading to two
