Can to tulip. Consumed on 07/28/2024.
Appearance: soft hazy orange to amber to purple color with a quickly dieing finger's worth of white foamy head that barely left any lace
Aroma: grapefruit, lime, raspberry and dragon fruit tones with some freshly cut grass and a pinch of lemon sweetness
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine tart to sweet fruity tone rolling into a fairly nice bittersweet hoppy undertone; finishes leaning into the raspberries, limes and grapefruit notes
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper as some of the sour character seems to penetrate as I somewhat expected it to, some puckering but not overdone
Overall: yeah, I think I can see this as a "sour IPA" but mostly in the texture and I believe I could have this again.

Can to lager glass.
Appearance: soft golden yellow color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: soft floral hop tones with a slight freshly cut grass spice; light straw notes; then a light cracker malt backbone
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine cracker maltiness with a touch of earthiness; finishes floral, grassy spicy and a nice crackery maltiness with a little bit of dryness
Texture: light bodied, sessionable; good amount of smoothness with some expected dryness running along the tongue
Overall: nicely done as one of those New Zealand pilseners and I'd return to this in that respect.

Can to lager glass.
Appearance: golden yellow in color with a slight transparency about it and a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: floral to sweet grassy hops, subtle hop spice - semi-grassy and a light clean bready/biscuity malt backbone
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to hop spicy tone with a sweet biscuity/bready malt tone; finishes mostly with the floral hops and malt backbone with a touch of dryness
Texture: light bodied, sessionable; some smoothness with a nice dry edge I thought felt pretty nicely done
Overall: though I can't truly tell if this is a German or a Czech pils, I guess it's one of those "modernized" ones, this is still well brewed enough to warrant more pours.
