Toasted malts, vanilla, toffee, brown sugar, soft maple, earthy, toffee, dark chocolate, creamy milk chocolate too, brandy. Over medium sweet, medium bitter. Full bodied with slightly dry finish. Quite tasty, but also a bit rough in the finish.

330ml bottle, vintage 2018, L 106, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. A dissipating beige head to a close-to-clear orange-reddish body. Hazy last pour. Clingy lacing. Dried fruity aromas, modest peaty, hints of alcohol. Mixed taste of raisin, plums, and caramel, woody. Drying fruity ending, vinous with noticeable alcohol. Fair enough. Unvaried in the long run. (Tromsø 27.03.2020).

29 November 2019. At Billie's Craft Beer Fest. Cheers to the lovely Anke, tderoeck, 77ships & Ghent beer crew! Cloudy black, no head. Aroma of maple, pancake, cake, caramel sauce, date jam. Taste has very sweet maple, cake & caramel with nuts, vanilla & bittersweet mocha. Herbal hoppy finish, very sweet, bit chocolatey, heating liqueur alcohol. Medium body, syrupy texture, soft carbonation. Too sweet, not 'Stout' enough.
