Cask, somewhere in London when on holiday. Clear dark copper color, small lacing on top. Don’t smell much, just a slight bitterness. Taste is pretty poor, weak, lightly bitter, nothing more. Not even a nice bitterness. No carbo, no body.

On gravity at Swindon beer festival, 27/10/2011. Medium brown with no head. Sweet caramel in flavour and aroma with a touch of nuttiness and not much in the finish. Inoffensive.

Bottle @ home. Clear bottle. Slightly cloudy, brown appearance with a small tan head. Buttery, toffee, light wood in the nose. Butter, roasty caramel, burnt woody flavor. This must be better in England because this bottle is tasting nasty.

Light brown colour. Soft, smooth, easy drinking texture. A full flavoured beer with a nice floral hop aftertaste.
