The Gyle 59 Brewery. Spring fed, log powered, propane driven, unfined, hazy crazy artisan beers. We want you to notice what you are drinking.

All our beers are created with one thing in mind - flavour. We are lucky enough to have a unique supply of spring water which we are using to good effect allowing the many different qualities of our ingredients to shine through.

8/2/2020. From cask at the Great British Winter Beer Festival, Birmingham. Pours clear golden with a small off-white head. Aroma of fruit, malt, hops, grass, flowers and yeast. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily and watery texture, soft carbonation.

Cask @ GBBF, Birmingham. Small head with short duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are grass, straw, fruits, malt and hops. Nice bitter finish.

Cask at GBBF: Poured an orange translucent with white bubble head. Aroma is beery grain. Taste is grain malty not overly excited.

Cask sample from GBBF 2019 courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Golden colour, afew bubbles on top and aroma of malt, floral hoppy. Taste is malty, caramel, biscuit with floral citrusy hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite OK

8/8/2019. Cask at the 2019 Great British Beer Festival. Pours clear golden amber with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of malt, hops, fruit, caramel, biscuit and straw. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily and watery texture, soft carbonation. Nice bitterness developed in finish.

17/7/2019. Bottle shared at the South West tour bottle share. Bought at Darts Farm near Topsham, Devon. 7.3% abv. Pours dark ruby brown with a beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, elderberry jam, toffee, molasses, brown bread and dried fruits. Medium sweetness with moderate bitterness. Medium plus body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Very nice, best so far at the bottle share.

Aroma of hops, citrus, orange, grapefruit, malt and straw. Moderate sweetness with medium plus bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Decent brew.
