Draft @ ML Fontainas Italian beer wknd. Dorée-orange, col épais blanc. Arôme est houblonné laissant de fines effluves huileuses, assez proche des classiques de la côté ouest - impression d'orange confite et autres agrumes. Palais est assez doux, sucré résiduel accentue l'effet de collant aux lèvres sur la fin. Huileux, sève voire note de pin agrémenté de pointes fruitées pêche-abricot, résineux et un côté alcool qui se ressent bien.

I Draught /I Huge dense white head, slightly cold hazed golden beer; rings of lace. Lactic, diary, dry hops, hopbales. Warming up, aftershave (no, not mine). Very bitter indeed, bit indifferent. Again dry hopbales; bitter green vegetables. Medium bodied, slick, hopoils. Grew on me in the end. Very bitter, but still OK.

Draft at GBBF: Poured a yellow orange with white head. Tart pungent nose. Taste was light tart grain, not bad.

Lemon nose. Hazy pale golden colour, good frothy white head, good retention and lacing. Aroma pale malt, lemon, lemon grass, lemon peel. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, lemon, grapefruit, pine resin. Dry bittersweet aftertaste, orange pith, lemon peel, chalky. Medium body, oily texture, moderate carbonation, well-balanced, good IPA.

ABV: 4.0%. Murky medium orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, wheat, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast, tart fruit, passion fruit - mango. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sweet fruit, wheat, passion fruit - mango, tart notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20190808]

8/8/2019. Tap at the 2019 Great British Beer Festival. Pours cloudy pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of grapefruit, passion fruit, mango, citrus, hint of pineapple, flowers and slight rubbery notes. Moderate sweetness and light bitterness with a little lasting tartness. Moderate body, slight creamy texture, average carbonation.
