Sixth generation headstrong Belgian true craft and traditional brewery, established in the early 1800's and on the same exact location were we are still today since 1859! Call us stubborn. But we are still a family with strong values. We still brew all our beers ourselves. We still use the original copper kettles. And we can guarantee our quality for at least another 150 years! We're headstrong. True craft brewers. And we're from Belgium!! These beers were not made in someone's garage as a hobby. For six generations, brewing is our family's passion. We do not follow hypes. We stay true to the craft. Without compromises on quality. And in this respect, you can call us stubborn.

Bottle from BiervanEijk, Steenwijk. Aroma is spicy yeast, malt, sugary fruit, spicy notes, a little alcohol. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Fine Tripel.

Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.

A hazed golden wit with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity raspberry jam with light acidity, light sugar, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity mix of raspberry jam with light acidity, light mineral notes, OK. Bottle at La Marmite, Vientiane.

(Draught at Gist, Brussels, 22 Oct 2023) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with dried fruit, candy sugar, herbs, apricots and grass. Malty, fruity taste with notes of sweet fruit, dried pineapple, candy sugar and a mild floral/herbal bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced blonde. Nice one.

A hazed golden amber ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light candy sugar, light curacao, light alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet candy sugar malt with coriander, light curacao, alcohol warmth, very nice. On tap at Maolin.

A hazed golden ipa with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, pleasant. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with resinous hops, light treacle, loads of grapefruit, pleasant. Bottle at Balance Beer.

(Draught at Gist, Brussels, 20 Oct 2023) Reddish copper colour with creamy, tan head. Malty nose with caramel, bread, toast, red fruit and toffee. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, toffee, toast, red fruit and a gentle spicy bitterness. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Warming, but hides it's 9% pretty well. Nice one.

(Draught at Gist, Brussels, 20 Oct 2023) Pale yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity nose with lemon, white bread, lemonade and dough. Fruity taste with notes of citrus, lemonade and white bread. Light body, with a certain sweetness. On the thin side, but refreshing and highly drinkable. Quite nice.
