Description
The organic brewing project of Gert Jordens, official since 2010 but active as a home brewer since 1999. Originally the beers were made at the Proefbrouwerij but production moved to Anders (and sometimes Strubbe) in 2013. One of the very few Belgian brewing companies which produce only organic beers; hops are exclusively sourced from Joris Cambie's organic hop farm in Poperinge. Exports 22% of its production, primarily to the Netherlands.

33cl Bottle from EkoPlaza. As TRPL. Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of garlic, floral notes, pale malts, fruity. Flavour of garlic, malts, nice sweet floral touch, firm bitter finish. Medium-bodied, firm carbonation. How is this beer any different from their Pimpernelle? Btw garlic in beer is not a good idea IMHO.

Ordinary tripel. Bit more watery and than the usual one. Not very interesting.

Bit boring beer. Just a midly hoppy blonde. But considering the low alcohol, it’s decent.

Strong dark beer. It’s nice in itself, but just too modest, it needs a more outspoken taste. This is too plain.

Flavor is malty, sweet and a little roasted. But overall it tastes rather flatt. Boring beer.

Tripel with lots of weird herbs and spices. Nice, but considering they poured an entire garden in the beer, I expected more taste.

Bit boring and uninspired Belgian blond beer. It’s not bad, just very plain.

Typical Belgian dubbel beer. Malty, yeasty, quite sweet and with some dark fruits.

Clear golden with bubbly, medium sized head. Grassy, some yeast, unripe vegetables, lemon, herbs, light malts and lots of herbal hops. Taste is a bit sweet with quite of lot of bitter. Medium bodied, full carbonation. Not a typical triple, quite OK, but slighty to ’green’ tasting for me.

Light golden with small very bubbly white head. Yeast, yoghurt, grassy and herbal hops. Taste is medium sweet, with sour touch and bitter hoppy finish. Light bodied, with slightly watery feel and nice full carbonation. Yes it’s light like the bottle says, but stil tasty and the palate is not bad.
