Description
We’ve produced quality beers over the years by challenging and refining our craft, not by appeasing trends. Discerning taste, rolled up sleeves, and upholding our uniquely progressive ideals ensures our drinkers will appreciate Upland beers as much as we do. Many of our brews are unique twists on traditional recipes, while others are creations of our own imaginations. At our brewpubs and tasting rooms in Bloomington, Columbus, Carmel and Indianapolis, flavor, discourse, debate, laughter, and conversation flow as freely as our beer.

Upland Brewing Company was founded in 1997 by Marc Sattinger, Russ Levitt and Dean LaPlante. In 1998, distribution of bottles and kegs began and the brewpub opened its doors. In 2006, ownership changed hands to a group of local investors remains 100% family owned. In 2012, a new brewing facility and bar was opened on the west side of Bloomington which became the primary brewing facility for Upland,

22oz bomber shared by Willrunforbeer on 8/3/24. 2012 May bottling. Clear golden. No head. Malty still, clean, not crude with the yeast profile. Mild spice, mild yellow fruit. Very easygoing. No oxidation in the nose. Candi sugar, vanilla, honey and hints of mild oxidation with yellow fruit and spice. Medium bodied, not quite over-attenuated. No sign of alcohol.
