Can thanks to my buddy Jerry (aka Jamie): Poured a thick oil sludge black with a brown head that dissipated to a ring. Aroma is roasted malts, cocoa nibs, cinnamon, dark fruits. Taste is cinnamon, doughy, rich roasted malts, cocoa nibs, espresso coffee bean, cinnamon. Balance of sweet and roast.

Can thanks to my buddy Jerry (aka Jamie): Poured a pitch-black oil sludge with a very thin ring forming brown head. Aroma is boozy, roasted malts, cocoa/chocolate, chilies, smoke. Taste is thick roasted malts, chilies and alcohol sting, chocolate, dark fruits, ashy, smoke, molasses, this one burn so good!

12% draught, 7/3/23. Moderately hazy bronze-apricot. Small, white head to ring. Nose is sugary, gross lactose and sugary, gross marshmallow. Some nutty, dry pistachio is appreciated and the apricot is done well. Imagine if they didn't ruin this w lactose and mallow.... Smartys/spree candy is disgusting with lots of sweetness and none of the pistachio. Apricot the only redeeming quality here. Slick texture. Lingering apricot and artificial sweetener.

Can (4/10/23) pour from Total Wine & More, Brentwood. It's a cloudy light brown-dark yellow with tons of sparkle, a bunch of large white floaties, 3-finger off-white head with good retention and nice rings of lacing. Aroma is strong citrus, stone and tropical fruit, sweet/tart pineapple. Taste is mango, citrus, mild tropical fruit, astringent alcohol background. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, more general fruit (likely from Simcoe) than identifiable aromas/flavors but the biggest drawback is the noticeable alcohol.

Bottle shared with Caesar. Opaque black color, small light brown colored head. Aroma is malts, sweetness, vanilla, hazelnut. Flavor is malts, sweetish a bit, vanilla, hazelnut, light liquor, but something in there that annoys me. Can't put my finger on it really but it reminds me of artificial hazelnut-hopjesvla. Don't know. Okay but had higher hopes.

Draught @ Dive 96 Bar, Manhattan. (5/22/23) Extremely hazy bright yellow with a small foamy off-white head, citrus-mango aroma, adequate carbonation, mildly bitter mango-citrus taste, faint tropical fruit and alcohol undertones, thin body, long juicy finish with bitter aftertaste. Positively juicy and deceptively easy to drink.

Can from Harvest. Pours a pitch black with a finger of brown head that lingers. Coffee, dark chocolate and lactose on the nose. Creamy oat texture on the palate with lactose, coffee and dark chocolate abound. Drying finish with warming alcohol and slight coffee and green hop notes. Not bad though overall.
