Keg at the brewpub, 18/02/15. Light black topped with a moderate tan covering. Nose is rich roast, raisens, dark fruit, bourbon soaked wood. Taste comprises rich dark fruits, light spice, toffee, booze inject, sweet’n’sour tones. Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, lightly warming alcohol in the close with a trace of bourbonics. Decent enough strong, holds together well, doesn’t get too boozey.

Keg at the brewpub, 18/02/15. Lightly hazed golden orange with a moderate off white covering. Nose is juicy hops, tangerine, light pine, mango, melon. Taste comprises mango, madnarin, hop strokes, pine needle, orange pith, straw, toasted malt. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splatted with hop bitterness. Decent enough DIPA, drinks below the ABV.

Keg at the brewpub, 18/02/15. Lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is tarte citric shreds, pissy notes, wood, lemon, funky, damp straw. Taste comprises musty wood, pissy citrics, sharp lemon, green apple, light acidic strains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, with a tarte citric rinse and light puckerings. Decent sour, fairly approachable.

Brewvival 2015 Trip #65. Keg at the brewpub. Pours a hazy orange-brown with a thin head. Fair head retention. Aroma of bourbon, wood, chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla. The taste is chocolate, coconut, vanilla, mild bourbon.

Brewvival 2015 Trip #63. Keg at the brewpub. Pours a clear golden with a medium sized creamy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of tart dry citrus, melon, earthy notes. The taste is caramel malt, zesty citrus hops. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness.

Brewvival 2015 Trip #62. Keg at the brewpub. Pours an almost murky orange with a large fizzy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of peanut butter, bread, pepper notes and dry fruits. The taste is peanut butter and jammy fruits. Medium bodied and quite lives up to the concept.

Brewvival 2015 Trip #60. Keg at the brewpub. Pours a clear golden with a thin head. Poor head retention. Aroma of tart lactic and mildly acetic sour, wood, hints of whiskey, citrus. The taste is wood, whiskey, vanilla, tart lemon and lactic sourness. Medium bodied, lingering tartness.

Kentucky Fried Charleston Trip Beer #123. Draft at the brewpub. Pours a dark brown color with a thin creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of earth, caramel and toasted malts. The taste is caramel, earth, anise, berries, fruit roll-ups. Medium bodied, low carbonation, lingering sweetness.
