Description
Our brewery is made up of over 300 team members, that proudly give their best to serve you, our valued consumers, with the best beer they possibly can.

Just like the vast diversity in cultures, languages, and regions that represent Ethiopia, Habesha Breweries reflects all Ethiopians. Our people illustrate the beauty and rich diversity that one can find in Ethiopia.

Our team is working closely together with local farmers. We assist them in professionalizing their business, helping them to grow better quality barley. Their better quality seeds yield up to 30% higher profits, whilst our brewery guarantees strong demand for their produce.

Our beer is brewed from Ethiopia’s best water, directly sourced from the highland grounds of Debre Birhan, there where our proud and passionate people transform prime quality yeast, barley malt and hops into our beloved beer.

Note: Although the above description is interesting, many of their beers are brewed in Holland.

Bottle pour from The Beer Store, Salem. It's a clear golden yellow with light sparkle, ring of off-white head with no lacing. Aroma is musty European malts. Taste is pale/pilsner malts. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, nothing needle-moving.

Bottle shared at BBT 2/2023. Thin body, medium carbonation. Med-light corny syrupy sweetness up front, then balanced by medium bitterness. Light grainy astringency. Overall rather clean despite the aforementioned notes, does not feel too off. Okay watery macro lager, drinkable.
