Definitely the hoppiest barleywine I've had. Not an ideal bw, for me, but certainly good. Amazing bottle, too.

Draught @ Tokyo Edo Week at Ueno Park. Pours slightly hazy orange with a smooth head. Aroma of fruits, tropical notes, pine and citrus. Taste is fruity, slightly juicy and tropical with some pine, citrus and caramely malts. Finish is sweetish, fruity and tropical hoppy. Okay, but not quite a proper NEIPA.

Tap @ BeerFes Yokohama, September 17th, 2017. Nice golden pour with some white foam on top. Nose has some dusty biscuits, bit also some pineapple. Taste has more pineapple, quite clear flavours. Medium body, fruity and hop finish. Not bad for a pineapple beer, on the lighter and sweeter side I guess.

The first sip is astonishing. Then it levels out. These guys seem to know what they're doing. I hope I can find more of theirs.

7 3 8 3 15Bottle shared for Florisβs Leaving Beers at Gekke Geit. Dark brown with a dark tan head. Aroma of malt, toffee, fudge, chocolate and caramel. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light moderate bitter.
