Can (3/20/24) pour from Steve, nitro version. Opaque black with light sparkle, small, conventional fizzy head quickly fading to a ring and no lacing. Aroma is strong roasted coffee and malt--quite bitter. Taste follows aroma but less bitter with some creaminess. Smooth, creamy texture, medium bodied, soft carbonation and finish as taste. No widget present so no classic nitro head, which was weird, but shows up in taste and mouthfeel. More bitter than I'd prefer but good strength.

Batch 2 canned 4/12/24, drunk 9/1/24. Clear, sparkling brass-golden. Large, white head, modest retention. Bright citrus, soft salt, minimal tea and adjunct with mellow lactic acidity, nutty wheat and honey-like malt. Clean and very aromatic. They've really dialed-in this gose base. It's got just the right amount of acidity and malt balance with soft salinity and gentle adjunct. The green tea has mostly vanished, but there's still bright citrus here. Excellent balance and incredibly flavorful for its size.

Very elegant, vinous clean grape and a touch of grape must dry ness, light peach, balanced with a long clean finish. LCI

Draft at Churchkey. 2022 vintage. Poured a opaque brown color with a small tan head. Aroma was big figgy, boozy toffee. Vanilla, Port. Burnt sugar, and some red wine. Bourbon vanilla woody finish. Alcohol doesn't need to be this high, but it created a quite nice warming sensation.

Brewery draught, 2024, drunk 8/15/24. Dark, caramel-tinged mahogany. Small, tan head, steadily to ring. Delightful, delightful nose. Oh, does PhillyBeer not like this beer? Then I'm sure to love it, and indeed I do! What's not to like with rich pepper, spice, lead, dark chocolate and light caramel? No booze. A shot of roast followed by charred caramel and vanilla-soaked prune. Oddly enough it's lighter-bodied with some alcohol strength and tons of rich bourbon. With such a rich nose, it is disappointing that the texture is so light and watery.

Brewery draught, 8/15/24. Chill-hazed golden-lime-brass. Small, frothy, white head. Oh boy...juicy, tight, tart hops and gooseberry complement the culture perfectly. Stiff mineral laid on nice and thick. Is there rubber band? Something like that. Not sure if it's Brett or gooseberry. But whatever. Juicy with flesh, skin and tart acids from fruit. Soft and malty, lots of mineral and such. Deep honey, tart fruit lingering. This is going to evolve beautifully.

2024 draught at the brewery, 8/15/24. Chill haze, raspberry. Small, pink-tinged head. Nose is chalky, beautiful, mellow but bright raspberry and soft mixed culture. Juicy, lightly tart, seedy and raw, perfectly juicy, fruity and mellowed. Soft and malty, dry, with chewy wheat. What a series...really loadin the funk in as it warms...

Can (5/1/24) pour shared by Steve. Opaque milky dark yellow with nice sparkle, thin head with fair retention and nice lacing. Aroma is strong stone fruit and herb. Taste follows aroma but stronger stone fruit than herb, red grape and background cracker. Smooth, creamy, frothy texture with soft carbonation and finish as taste. Strong all around.

Bottle shared in NH - cheers to Rick. Pours mostly clear red with a small, foamy white-pink head. Light sweet flavour with fairly sharp acidity. Tart berries, raspberry. Light to medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Sharp and quenching finish. Nice but a little sharp.
