On tap at Beer Street South, pours black with almost no head. Aroma has some perfumey notes from the barrels, followed by dark sugars and booze. Flavour is full of glue and perfumey notes, with rather harsh barrels, wood glue, and dark sugars. Glue-like and perfumey. This is harsh and is not well-calibrated.

On tap at T�rst, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma smells like a shot of dark roast espresso, with medium roast. Flavour is much the same, with rich espresso, light roast, and a sludgy mouthfeel. Murky, sludgy mouthfeel, finishing dry with plenty of espresso. Decent.

On tap at T�rst, pours a lightly hazy yellow blonde with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of rustic saison yeast, moderate funk, and some tangy dry-hopping. Flavour is tangy and rustic, with plenty of rustic saison yeast, farmhouse funk, and tangy dry-hopping. Nice hop expression to complement the bugs. Very good.

Can (8/21/24) from Steve. Cloudy orange-yellow with tons of sparkle, good-sized head with excellent retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong apricot, lemon, citrus. Taste is strong lemon citrus, papaya. Smooth, silky texture, soft carbonation and lightly bitter finish. Good across the board.

Can (8/7/24) from Steve. Opaque dark yellow with nice sparkle, thin head with fair retention and nice lacing. Aroma is sweet, dank white grapes, herb. Taste is strong white grape as aroma, citrus and more prominent herb than aroma. Smooth, thick texture, medium bodied, finish as taste. Good Nelson augmented by the grapes.
