Hoppy and juicy, a bit sweet. Citrus and pine resin, green grass. Smooth, very nice.

From tap at As Is NYC. Soft and juicy aroma with tropical fruits, some pale malt, pineapple, and citrus. Mild bittersweet flavour, medium body. Very easy and soft, balanced and drinkable. Very good.

Armsby draught, 2/4/25.
Very pale brass-golden. Small, white head, good retention.
Juicy apricot and very little acid. Mostly letting the fruit speak with a bit of wood and rustic grain.
Juicy again, this time with more acid from the lactobacillus. Softer wood tannin and dainty apricot. Fruit gets a little bit overly folded in to the wood and a bit bullied by the culture. But it's soft, malty, appropriately attenuated.

Brewer's Tap draught, 2/2/25.
Clear deep brass. Small, white head.
Golden raisins, light berries and wet earth with fresh biscuit and gentle herb.
Soft, juicy malts with a touch of crumbly biscuit. Dark berries indeed, from hop, with zippy bitterness and fresh herbal suggestions. White grape, unripe pear, warm acorn. Some pretty unusual stuff here. Crazy easy to drink. Malty and dry with good bitterness and minerality on the end.

LCI from last night: Roasty, lots of sweetness, some kind of light sweet meaty aftertaste here, the dunkel from Fox Farm has a lot more complexity

Excellent, but why a kellerbier? Slightly toasty grains, soft hop profile, touch of sweetness.

I’m just not getting this. Boozy, bourbon and port are present, but not my favourites barleywine. Heavy, dry finish detracts a bit.
