Draught @ Vinyl Beer, Manhattan (June 2025). Dark brown with faint red highlights, foamy dark beige head, dark chocolate aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter dark chocolate-mocha taste, smooth thin body, long bitter finish. Very smooth and tasty.

Canned 1/29/25, drunk 6/13/25.
Dark. Probably clear. Large, tan head slowly recedes to spotty cover.
Very brandy-forward. Dry, vinous, grape liquor without the rich, softness of the usual whiskey. It's different and a nice change-of-pace (though if we're being honest, I've gotten pretty addicted to the soft, sweet, easygoing nature of bourbon barrel-aged beer). A hint of vanilla, but I don't think I'd recognize it blindly. No alcohol or roast. Certainly no excessive sugar.
Roasty coffee, not overdone with a good softness, chocolate character and fruitiness. Brandy on the back and edges, though not as prominent as it is in the nose. Soft, round, almost succulent, though not even close to thick/syrupy. Great attenuation leaving the beer pretty much in the middle of the sweet/dry spectrum, though tending dry, I guess. Chocolate, not too much prune, a bit of rich cigar and lingering liquor. Interesting and unique, as mentioned.

Eli's draught, 5/25/25.
Dark. Clear. Light tan head.
Softer roast and light chocolate with earthy mineral and light hazelnut. Clean and aromatic.
Rich and malty. Tons of base malt giving great depth. Assertive dark malts elevate it past a dunkel, properly. Good bitterness with light coffee and licorice. Solid bread and caramel, great balance.

Can pour at the "No styles alike tasting" from trade with ClarkVV--thanks, Clark! Clear, golden yellow with trace sparkle, ring of head, trace lacing. Aroma is honey malts, mild hops. Taste is strong bready malt, mild honey. Smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Well made and nuanced but kind of a boring style.

16 oz can shared by tfontana. Thanks Tom. The aroma is mild yeast and white bread. Flavor follows with a very soft top background. The beer is balanced for sure. Although it’s extremely simplistic. Such is the style.

Big grapefruit riwaka here. Hazy orange yellow pour with ok head and some lacing. Light bitter end. Pretty good balance, and even body for a hazy. Tap at High Side.
