Description
Transmitter Brewing was formed to bring a unique perspective on traditional beer styles to the local NYC beer scene. Through the informed use and interactions of yeast and hops, we hope to add to the conversation about what is craft beer.

Draught @ Five Boro Craft Beer Fest. Cloudy orange with small creamy off-white head, acidic aroma, high carbonation, bitter caramel malt taste, thin body, long bitter finish. Quite bitter, and Brett is not much noticeable.

Mission Dolores, Brooklyn tap: pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma is orange and lemongrass. Taste is ginger, lemon, orange. Good enough but not a huge fan of the flavor profile.

Can @ Train tasting, trade by Trapped, Thanks! Pours slightly hazy pale golden with a fading offwhite head. Aroma of wheat, light sourness, yeast, light tart fruit, light citrus. Flavor is light sour, wheat, yeas, light wood, tart fruity, citrus, oranges. Medium body, average carbonation, light bitter finish. 100518

Can on train tasting to MBCC. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is dry, malty, tart and orange. Flavor is medium sweet and light acidic. Dry and light acidic finish. 100518

Sampled from the tap at Beer Culture. Pours a clear amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges quickly. Aroma has dark sweet grains and toffee with some dates and dark fruits supporting. Flavor has lots of dates and dark fruits with some sweet dark grains and booze underlying.

Can from Malt&Mold. Pours juicy pinkish orange with foamy white head, acidic aroma, sour orange taste with orange peel flavor, thin body, long sour finish. Likeable.
