Draught @ Local 61. Cloudy bright yellow with large foamy whitish head, faint bread/citrus aroma, low carbonation, lightly salty malt taste with medium acidity turning bitter towards the end, thin body, long dry medium bitter finish. Quite an interesting fleeting of tastes and flavors.

On tap @ The Gingerman. This is cloudy looking one, golden yellow in color and a nice eventually turning sidesticking and islandy white head on the top. Really good pinkish grapefruity nose. Ripe berries, some lemon zesty sourness in the back. A startoff mild but growing quite nice aroma. Tastes quite good also, but its surprisingly sweet or non-dry for a saison. Feels light oily in the mouth and its about average, perhaps average + on the carbonation. Yeasty and strawy. I get vanilla pudding, thin watered down grapefruit and honey melons added soft lemonade. Fruity and quite good tasting. One glass is enough though. 17.06.2015

Bottle to tulip, the appearance was a golden burnt copper color with a thin white foamy little head that fell off at a moderate pace. Slight lace.
The aroma had some toast/white bread, floral, funky, light pear, green apple, white pepper, lemongrass, sweet grass and a little bit of sour underneath.
The flavor was mostly funky with sturdy elements of sour, tart and sweet. Slight herbal quality came in and then the aftertaste was the full on blend of all of the prior mentioned tastes appealing the same in the finish.
The palate was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine.
Overall, second beer by Transmitter that I had and I liked this one.

Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a soft golden copper color with a finger’s worth of dieing head that swiftly messed around the glass to leave some spotty sliding lace.
The aroma had some citrusy sweet and sour pulp and rind playing with some basement to earthy funk. Mushrooms, dried leaves, lemongrass, toast, driftwood, bubblegum and white pepper round out the edges. Light Brett making a subtle yet fine play in and around it all.
The flavor was a fine blend of the sour to tart to sweet to funky and woody. All coming together in the aftertaste to ride on into the finish.
The palate was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine.
Overall, pretty nice Brett saison that I would have again.
