Gristmill, Brooklyn tap: pours orange with a white head. Aroma is yeasty, lightly fruity and a bit funky. Taste is similarly yeasty. Not too bretty or crazy. Well balanced. Pretty good.

Tap@The Ginger Man, NYC
Slightly hazy amber color, tiny white head. Light fruity wineous aroma (suprisingly I would say white wine). Light-bodied. Flavour is wineous with pear and apple. Peppery saison yeasty notes. Easy. Wine drinkers (especially white wine, although it is aged in Chianti barrel) should like it, I am not so big fan.

From a friend: pours a weird color... murky and not quite reddish without too much head. Aroma is winy and vinegary... nice funky notes abound. Taste is lightly sour... perhaps merely tart. Very dry. Funky. Interesting.

Pine Box Rock Shop, Brooklyn tap: pours dark brown with a gery small head. Aroma is spice, loads of dark fruits, sugars. Taste is large, slightly boozy, kind of sweet... without being cloying. Pretty good.
