Established in 2010
Almanac was founded in 2010 by Damian Fagan and Jesse Friedman, two avid home-brewers who bonded over their mutual appreciation for California farmers markets. They set out to brew beers inspired by California’s rich agricultural bounty. After nearly seven years of partner brewing, we moved into our very own 30,000 square-foot production & aging facility located on a historic naval airbase on Alameda Island in San Francisco Bay.

On tap at TapRoom - North Park, pours a clear pale pink with a small white head. Aroma has a nice mix of berries, especially strawberry, with a touch of vanilla. Flavour has plenty of strawberry and vanilla upfront, with light acidity and a touch of oak. Not the most complex or refined sour, but it's well-constructed. Very good.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours hazy gold with a slight white head. Aroma of citrus and perhaps pineapple. Med body. Juicy and less than dry. Decently bitter tho. Even a little dank. Going with citrus and pineapple - and some dank herb. Very nice.

Pours a light hazy (certainlynot murky) yellow golden body and a small rocky white head. Aroma's: somewhay dank upon opening the can, quickly making way for soft sweet tropical fruit (mango, peach, papaya). Flavor is light sweet, light bitter and fruity. Medium bodied. Some bitterness in the finish and lots of sediment on the bottom of the glass.
