On tap at the Angel Inn.
Light brown pour with a beige head.
Aroma of cheap malts, and some light UK hops. Cooked veggies, and some corn. A macro take on a bitter.

6 pack from the LCBO.
typical clear golden color.
Aroma is grainy, and bready, its making me hungry for some fresh bakery bread. Flavour, well.....imagine this, a pale lager with hops!? i can actually taste hops! wow.....nice fatertaste, one of the better pale lagers i’ve had.

2006 vintage.
aroma is of raisins and plums, very nice and fruity, lots of sweetness. Flavor is a bit of a let down. Very malty, and the sweetness fades out, and looses itself. I prefered the 2005 much better, it was quite hoppy, and the sweetness was always there throughout. Nice packaging, but a little pricey at $10.

From old tasting notes. Nice orange gold color. Small bubbles lead to a creamy tan head. Earthy sweet malt aroma. Sweet malty flavor is spicy with honeyish overtones. There is an underlying wordiness that flaws an otherwise good flavor. Light lingering malt finish and aftertaste.

From old tasting notes. Brassy gold color. Small white head. Interesting nutty malt nose. Bittersweet malt flavor with an obvious maple note. Crisp, dry and intensely flavored.

From old tasting notes. Deep copper, red color. Thick creamy beige head. Soft toasted malt nose. Smooth, malty, full-bodied and flavorful. Nicely balanced with a crisp, dry hop finish. Very good.

From old tasting notes. Brassy gold color. Big creamy beige head. Soft apple cider fruit malt nose. Tangy apple flavor hints at high alcohol. Interesting cross between a crisp ale and a pub cider.

From old tasting notes. Deep Amber red color. Thin white head. Sweet toasted malt aroma, reminiscent of oatmeal cookies. Tangy toasted malt flavor. Nice coffee-like character with a pinch of hoppiness in the finish. Cloying mouth filling aftertaste.
