My 50th Bell’s Brewery rating! 12 ounce can. Pale gold color. Puffy white head. Fragrant citrus hop aroma. Flavor is mildly dank citrus and resiny pine. Medium bodied. Crisp, dry mouthfeel. Some herbal hops on backend.

Like an aging band with a new banger record, Bell's nailed this delicious beer. Everything is top-notch, but the aroma is the real standout here, dense and rich with layers and layers of cocoa, coffee, roast, prune, raisin, soy, bourbon, oak, and alcohol. The flavor is nearly as impressive, with tobacco joining the fray. Rich and heavy body, well-carbonated despite the significant barrel time. This drinks like no expense or care was spared, and is a beautiful throwback to the headiest days of craft beer.

Pours a lightly hazy, pale golden yellow, with big, thick head. Aroma has a lot of tropical fruit notes, some citrus, some bread. Flavors are a bit more toned-down, but with tropical fruit and bread predominant. Clean, crisp mouthfeel. Mild levels of hop bitterness in the finish.

12 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Honey gold pour. Rocky beige head. Piney hop aroma. Flavor is biscuity malt and resiny pine. Peppery hops in middle. Some booziness as well. Dry, pithy notes on backend hint at white grapefruit.

Not a fan of Eclipse and the raspberry didn’t help it at all unfortunately

Sample at Porch Growler. Brown-black pour with a medium dark beige head that diminishes steadily to a film. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of bourbon, malt and dark chocolate. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, vanilla, bittersweet chocolate and roast malt. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Bottle from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clearish pink gold with a finger of off-white head that lingers. Lovely raspberry focused nose with notes of wheat as it warms. More raspberry skin and fruit on the palate. Finish leans dry. Better than regular Oberon.

Bold, boozy, big bourbon flavor. Warming, but not harsh. Nice BA stout.
