Cloudy reddish-orange pour with a thin off-white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Sparse spots of lacing. Aroma of citrus, wheat and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of floral wheat, orange and caramel malt. The finish is clean and fruity with an orange and wheat aftertaste. Decent overall.

My can says Light Hearted IPA. 12 oz can from Beerbox. Pours lightly hazy golden with a half finger bone white head with decent retention. Aroma has notes of pine, grapefruit, bread. Taste is moderately bitter, finishing dry, with flavors of pine and citrus. A bit watery, which is understandable considering the low ABV. A real crusher, but not much depth, which is probably what they were going for—a simple beer to slam down on hot days.

Skinny can from Giant Eagle Moon. pour is virtually clear lighter pale. Light citrus nose, like grapefruit perhaps. Good flavor on the uptake, just a little hint of that bitter wheat ale, ill characteristic firmly suppressed. Citrus shines thru in the middle. Wow, almost refreshing as I near the end. Well behaved for a wheat ale. I'm not one for wheat ales, but this one is coming across just fine. Some orange coming out towards the finish. Good level of cutting co2 to the end. I'll have to get another in the future.

Bought at Wyoming Discount Liquor in Casper. Best before November 9th 2025.
It pours a mostly clear pale gold with an ample head of foam, good retention and lacing.
The smell is grapefruit citrus, light tropical fruit, some caramel malt.
The taste is pretty nicely balanced..not overly sweet malt presence, not overly bitter presence of bitter hops, nice fairly lightly done tropical fruit so it has the bare minimum of dankness, which I appreciate.
Rather fullish body, resinous, coating the tongue. 9.0% abv is barely noticeable.
Yeah, I will drink this again.

It is a wonderful ale or we could say IPA, powerful, hop, well balanced, nice side of sugar, caramel, bitterness staying a long time in the mouth, buying it at Madrid, drinking it in the axor feria hôtel in Madrid, probably before to go to Lima for one trip. 19.10.2016

Disappointed that Bell’s used the Hopslam name on this beer; seems to me to be a marketing gimmick. Beer is okay but there is nothing hitting my taste buds to remind me of Hopslam.

16 oz can. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Tropical hops (mango, passion fruit), citrus (orange, grapefruit) in the aroma. Flavor has tropical and citrus hop flavors as well, fairly juicy. With Hopslam as my favorite beer, I was kind of hesitant to try this for fear of it being a bad knockoff. But while it's not really on the level of Hopslam, it is still very good.
