Can from Busch's. Pours a clear straw gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Herbal hop aromas with grain chaff and mineral on the nose. Citrus, pine and more herbal notes that linger on the palate. Finishes dry with herbal and citrus hop notes. A bit more muted than I would have thought. Clean and enjoyable.

Hopslam one of my top triple IPAs, I'm interested to see what Bell's does with a NE version. Snifter ready, I tilt the 16 oz can into the glass. Translucent yellow-gold body with a huge white head that disappears quickly. The nose is inviting, citrus, tropical effect, lightly hoppy, what is there not to like? The taste is comparable with the scent. Apricots, white bread, pine, pineapple, malt and a touch of grapefruit. Decent enough, touches all the bases but does not rise above. I thought it would break out.

On tap at New Belgium Denver Airport, pours an opaque dark amber with a medium beige head. Nose has lots of bready malt, toasted caramel, and very subdued resinous hops. Flavour is well-balanced, with a sturdy bready malt base, a hint of dried caramel, and some resinous hoppy bitterness. By the books, classic American amber. Solid.
