Keg @ Alma, Islington, London. Golden with a carbonation creating a head. Crisp sweetened apple taste and decent aroma too.

440ml can from Thornbridge Beer Club - Hazy orange body, frothy white top. Weak citrus nose, taste a little washed out. Get all the orange and lemons, but nothing thrilling. A bit ordinary, needs a lot more oomph.

Keg at the St Albans beer festival 2022. A clear pale gold yellow coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is crisp light grains, light apple. Light grains. Flavour is composed of crisp light cereal grains, light apple super crisp. Palate is light and crisp thin, highish carbonation. Ok.

Can. Thornbridge subscription box. Hazed straw gold. Thick white foam. Looks like a witbier. Nose has wheat. Citrus peel. Light fruity hop. Taste is dry, tangy and sharply bitter. Weird soapy mouthfeel manages to feel dry and slightly acidic. High foamy carbonation. Short sharp finish. Didn’t get on with this one.

Tap at Flat Iron, London. I didn't realise it was the brewery name so i expected smoke! In the end what I got was a well enough made lager. Little to comment on. Clean and rather dull.

Tight white head on a hazy pale lemon coloured body. Zesty lemon & citrussy aroma. Medium bodied, foamy in the tongue with a sharp dry back. Orange, lemon, zesty & chalky tastes with a pithy almost sour finish. Would have been great on the patio in the summer...

Can from Garsons Farm Shop, West End. Aroma certainly had lemon and orange sharpness but it's somewhat muted. Grainy. Earthy. Hazy pale yellow. Foamy white head soon fades. Light-medium bitter. Low key oily citrus sourness. Underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat-soft carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Perhaps suffering from being out on a shelf during a heatwave (even today the shop was stuffy at 24c) but this is a dull muted affair. No summery zest here.
