bottle - Pours clear yellow-gold with a small white head and a bready malt aroma. It’s light bodied and bubbly with a grainy malt flavor and mild, bland hops. The finish is grainy and slightly bitter. Not very good at all.

Sweet 12oz bonus bottle courtesy of GhostFace. It pours clear deep gold with white head and lasting white ring of foam. The aroma has bitter spicy hops, earthy sort of wet grass hops and then sweet malts in the background. OK, damn I’m liking the flavor of this IPA. It delivers some chewy clean malts pushing into a mix of bitter spicy and slightly dank spicy hops and some grapefruit like citrus hops. To midway and into the finish are echoes of citrus and floral hop flavor but a good deal of citrus and spicy hops are still there and linger into the after taste.

Bottle. Pours a pale yellowish gold. Nice 2 finger head that leaves some good lacing. Aromas are... you guessed it; floral citrus notes and pine. The taste is bitter grapefuit and herbal pine, and some bready malt for ¿balance? Well carbonated, but still relatively light bodied. A rather average IPA IMHO.

On tap. Pours brown with an off-white head. Aromas of roasty coffee and some nuttiness. Flavors are similar, with nutty and roasty flavors incorporating a little cocoa and very light dark fruit. Better than a lot in this style.

Bottle shared with other. Pours a clear dark brown with a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of earthy dark grains with a bit of dark fruit and not much else. Flavor has dark red fruit and earthy grains that is quite thin.

Bottle in Detroit. Clear, copper appearance with an ivory head. Toasty, burnt bacon, mild smoky, toffee, caramel aroma. Kind of weird aroma. Summer sausage, mildly smoky, caramel flavor. Drinkable but weird.

12oz bottle via Stevens Point. Slight;y hazy orange-copper. Thin, off white head. Ouch. Any time premium or especially super premium come into play, you know you are in dangerous territory. This one is medium bodied, grainy, and tastes like radioactive factory swill. Deep, cheap sugary tones. Really unenjoyable.

12 ounce bottle shared by MaltDawg at the 16th Richmond Ratebeer Gathering, 11/5/11. Pours a hazy peach color with a large frothy head. Good head retention. Aroma of citrus, corn and a chemical twang. The taste is bitter hops with some citrus notes. Astringent. Medium bodied.

Big thanks to Nick for popping this rarity. The cool looking 1 liter swing top pours out mahogany with tall mocha colored head. The aroma is full up earthiness mixing with cheesy pasta, some red wine tartness and chocolate malt balls. The taste has chocolate malts, full up earthiness rimed with spicy hops mixing with a bit of charred to the point of being brittle malts, wet tobacco leaves like earthiness. It feels like a 4% ABV beer making it seem the 10% bottle claimed ABV suspect. Certainly an interesting beer though.
