Description
First brewed in Spring 2010 as the Wheatsheaf Inn based at Wheatsheaf Inn, High Street, Llantrisant, Pontyclun. It was originally owned by Celt Experience. In 2011 it brewed for a short time using the name Korev, before settling on the current name in Spring 2012 when it separated from Celt Experience. It moved to its current address in Spring 2013 where an 11BBL plant was used. Experimental beers are produced under the Hopcraft banner. Brewing ceased in early 2019.

Craft beer Co Holburn. A clear light golden coloured pour with a fading white head. Aroma is semi sweet, honey, vanilla. Light grass. Flavour is composed of light grains, semi sweet, honey monster cereal, grassy, light sileage,. Palate is semi sweet, decent condition,.. Raw grains, grassy hop.

Fra fat på Craft Beer Co Covent Garden nov-18: klar gylden med ok skum. Deilig aroma og overbevisende smak med stor fruktighet - gule epler, stikkelsbær, milde urter og hint av hvit pepper. Slank, interessant og ganske elegant. Tørr avslutning med mersmak og diskret fruktighet.

Smaksprøve fra fat på Craft Beer Co Covent Garden nov-18: klar strågul med ok skum. Intens og noe ubalansert aroma og smak med grapefrukt, furuskog og overmoden citrus. Kraftig bitterhed i afslutningen.

Craft TCR Bottleshare. Cask. Clear gold beer, no head. Light and fairly dry palate, low carbonation. Light malts. Floral citrus, thin. Little peel bitterness. Citric linger. Okay, bit flat.

Cask at CBC Holborn - London. Pours clear yellow with a bubbly white head. Grassy and harsh, some husky pale grains, salt. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Bitter grass in the finish, dry straw, grain husk. Not great.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 18th November 2018. Hazy gold with shallow off-white foam and scant lacing. Hoppy aroma with citrus and a slightly soapy note. Hoppy in-mouth with citrus and berry fruits, followed by a tangy citrus and tropical fruits finish.

Tap. Pint Shop, Cambridge. Hazed, pale gold. Slim, fully lacing, lasting, white head. Nose has pineapple and ripe yellow melon. Seltzer. Clean malt. Taste is light sweet, with a lingering mineraly bitterness. Very light body. Crisp and fine carbonation. Mineraly bitterness to finish.

Cask. Rutland Arms, Sheffield. Pale gold. Light haze. Sticky, white foam. Nose has fresh, leafy hop oil. Notes of very ripe orange and mandarin. Some melon and pineapple. A little yeasty and estery. Taste is fruity sweet, with a moderate, oily, zesty bitterness. Light to medium body. Light carbonation. Bitterness rises and lingers on the finish.
