Poured a nice yellow color mix of cider and mead. Light funky notes with some nice apple notes. Nice hybrid mix on the dry side with good level of complexity.

Bottle from Astor Wines. Free shipping! Lux but airy eggshell head over a somewhat cloudy pale gold pour. Melon, acid, candy, wax, baby powder. Frothy, melon, diluted honey, mellow wax, egg whites. Hops? Where? Low abv, dusty, watered down, whatever. Another? Sure.

375ml bottle from Astor Wines. Stemless wine glass @home. Fizzy, delicate eggshell head. Clear, maybe slightly chill hazed gold pour. Second pour was all yeast. White grapefruit, orange pith, herbs, sugar, acid, very slight dank. Very nice nose. Very waxy flavor upfront. Heavy on astringent hops, IPA levels of bitterness, but no complexity. Mineral-y, Centennial/Chinook is obvious, but I don't get the fruitiness from the Cascade. Light cereal malt maybe or is this all chunk yeast? Wax is very distracting & poor technique. Dirty floral finish. Frothy, very slick, protein-laced, honeyed feel. Started off great, but did not like the base mead. Do I even like session meads?

On tap at Vices Versa, pours a clear pale golden, no head. Nose brings out intense bees wax — smells like I'm smelling a beehive. Flavour is a bit thin, even for a session, with fermented out honey and loads of bees wax. I'm convinced even the best meaderies worldwide can't do session meads that are worth it. Underwhelming but drinkable.
