My 100th Ocelot rating! 10-12 oz pour on draft at Ocelot. Ocelot brewed version. Black with tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, cocoa, roasted coffee. Tastes of dark chocolate, roasted coffee, cocoa. Full body with a dry finish. Rich and delicious. Might be even better than J. Wakefield’s original version.

Sampled at CBC, pours a hazy gold with some clumpy, white head. Nose has grass, malt, yeast. Flavor has malt, metal, yeast, grass, grist. Mostly dry finish.

4 oz pour at Ocelot. Dark brown-black color with a light tan head. So much maple aroma! Toffee, caramel malts. Not much roast. Flavor was like maple syrup candy - the kind that comes hard and crystallized. Light roast finish. Very good.
