75 cL bottle. Cloudy orange colour, white head. Nice smell of hops. Sweet with dry hoptaste following. Goes perfectly with barbeque. Complex yet simple. This is the beer that made me come back to La Rulles over and over again.

Yellowish, dense head over mossy-amber beer. Nice, lightly Bretty-lactic nose, fruity as from a lambic-based fruit beer (which it is neither!). Dry-leafy, earthy flavours. Chestnut flour, wild mushrooms. Unfortunately, all a bit subdued. Medium bodied, a bit tart aftertaste. Nice, as expected from Gregory. Still, just a little more punch behind would have made it great.

Cloudy orange golden color, medium frothy white head. Aroma of yeast, malt, bit flowery, fruity, hoppy, some bubblegum, Orval-like. Orval is definitely the taste i think about when drinking this beer, dry and bitter, bit fruity and sweet. An Orval look-a-like, which almost reaches the quality of its example.

Pours amber into a tulip. Tan conglomerate head leaves chunky lacing as it recedes. Bread, earth and hay aromas. Medium bodied, with front-to-back sweet caramel turning to a dry, slightly bitter lasting finish.

Bottle (75 cl) at Delirium, Gothenburg. Pale golden colour with a white head. Aroma is hop, fruit, spices. Flavour is dry, fruit,spices, yeast.

Draught - Bruxellensis Festival. Hazy gold, thin off white head. Hoppy aroma. Tangerine flavours. Good tripel, ticks all the boxes, tangerine is good. Never gets overly sweet, some dryness on end.

Dark brown, light head. The aroma is full of dark fruits (dates, plums) with soft milk chocolate and light toffee malts, hint of cherry. Full body. Soft and spicy with a little carbonation zip at the end. Chinese five spice and creamy chocolate. On the whole, a well-made dubbel but with no exceptional features.

Draught at Bruxellensis Festival. Reddish brown, thin beige head. Some malt, toffee. Not a lot in the mouth, some toffee, some dryness on end. Pretty inoffensive but some ok malt.

Bottled at Delirium, Gothenburg. Pours yellow-golden with lots of small floaties and a bit, white diminishing head. Sweet aroma with candi-sugar, fruits, yeast and apples. Alcohol, hops, fruits and some floral notes in the flavor. Thin body. Quite nice. (060824)

Hazy golden color, big white head. Aroma of soft hop, some flowers, some yeast, citrus, decent. Soft taste, but all the ingredients for a good blonde are present. Usually those beers can get too yeasty, but this one is nicely balanced.
