Sampled on draft at Rivertowne Pub in North Huntingdon PA this beer poured a dark bronze color with a medium sized white head. The aroma was moderate grassy and fruity hops. The flavor was light sweet malts and an intriguing mix of fruity and grassy hops. The hops are not overwhelmingly strong but really coat the tongue and linger. The beer is almost slick with the hops. I find myself burping up the hops later. Tasty.

On tap at the Mad Mex in Robinson. Looks like a ubiquitous pale american lager except that it is ever so slightly darker. Fruity flowery and hops in the aroma. Initial taste is pretty hoppy and a bit peppery. That is odd because I’ve never tasted any pepper in a beer before. Interesting and unique. Be careful, this beer hides it’s alky content rather well. No carbonation. Reminds me a bit of a mild IPA in its finish.

Bottle. More malt than hop so this beer is for those who like that grainy taste and texture. Small head, off-white. Amber body. The aroma is moderately malty with notes of toasted grain, cooke dough and caramel. Light nose of orange and flowers. The taste is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body with a feel that was slightly creamy. Adequate carbonation.

Fiery orange body, thin off-white head. Floral and pine cone hops aroma backed by sweet, bready malts. Cerealy body with bitter perfumey hops and sweet breads, floral, and earthy, the hops being slightly astringent. Well-balanced, interesting IPA.

Poured a near transparent deep yellow with a white head that settled to about a 1 finger depth and laced the glass. Smells wonderful, sweet and sugary like flowers and cinnamon toast, but also lemons and grass like a traditional hop aroma. Flavor is the same, sugary sweet with hints of flowers and herbs (lavender?). Bitterness of the hops is only evident at the very finish. Crisp and clean and sweeter and more complicated than your usual IPA. Good session beer as well, hides a slightly higher ABV well.

Pours a nice light amber with weak off white head. The aroma is mild with hints of sweet roasted to caramelized malts. For the taste I get a tasty roasted maltiness with a hint of astringency. Then the sweeter malts arrive along with a faint hoppiness. Just beyond midway a caramel candy note surfaces to add another much needed dimension. Pretty tasty.

Bottled. Golden colour, small head. Aroma is hops, paper and some slight nutty notes. Flavour is caramel, malts, grass and not very much other stuff. Drinkable and refreshing, but that’s about it.
