GBBF Day 1. Cask. Almost clear brown beer, a few pale tan bubbles. Light and and semi dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts, light tangy chocolate. Semi sweet mint. Overall a pleasant but thin after eight vibe.

Tap, Devil's Slide Taproom, Pacifica. Dark brown, dark cream head, ok lasting. Lots of dark chocolate and cocoa in the aroma. Bitter chocolate, some sweetness. A bit watery but silky.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours brassy gold with a white head. Aroma is strange, but suggests lemon. Near med body. Light flavor of “wheat” and mixed fruit. Lemon likely. Maybe strawberry. Flavors are not strong enough for me to be certain. Not sweet, but not dry. Mildly bitter. Quite refreshing tho. Worthy, tho confusing, radler.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours light, bright gold with a creamish white head. Aroma is pleasantly bready with detectable hop support. Near med body. Flavor is bready with some earth and spice from hops. Almost a hop burn! Overall fairly mild, but has good flavor.

355ml can from Beru Vkhodnoy in Moscow. Pours hazy but not opaque gold with a small white head. Aroma is citrus fruits and malt, resin and only faint tropics. Taste is mildly sweet, citrus fruits, malt, medium bitter finish. Not a typical NEIPA.

On Tap at Berts, Ontario. Dark borwn pour with a lasting coarse tan head and thick sheets of lacing. Choholate and medum roast. A littel charcoal and a not much in IBU bitterness at the end. Pretty big for a brown ale, pretty tame for a stout.
