(Bottle) Cloudy amber brown with tiny tan head. Nice aroma - fruity and raisins with hints of cardamom. Amazing palate - full bodies, oily, sticky with fine bright carbonation. Beautiful complex taste. Starts with some fruity, raisiny, almost vinous, tang, which is quickly joined by rich caramel. There’s a pleasant hint of the alcohol, and some peppery spice followed by some decent bitterness in the finish. Excellent rich strong beer.

Tap, The Post. Pale amber with a white head that lasts OK. Aroma of toast, some nuts, the meadow.. Very clean and lovely. Moderately sweet for this sort of thing with a nice toasty edge to it. dries out a little. Spicy and fairly bitter finish. These beers can be a little flabby for something you’re supposed to want to hoover several litres of. This has some body but is less rich than most and is crisp enough at the finish without detracting from the malt side of things. Very well put together.

(Bottle) Slightly hazy amber with decent loose white head. Lovely aroma - mix of tangy fruit notes, predominantly citrus, with some pine hints. Medium body well carbonated. Good taste, starts off with similar tangy fruity notes to the aroma, but this quickly develops with some sweet light malts appearing, quickly followed by some very distinctive, but not very aggressive, hoppy bitterness. Very nice IPA.
