Bottle 330ml.Unclear medium orange yellow colour with tiny to small body particles, a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, grass, moderate to heavy yeasty, horse blanket, leather, light grape and wine. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet, light acidic and moderate bitter with a long duration, dr, leather, horse blanket, sweet grape. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20120915]

Clear ruby red to red brown beer, big aery beige head, pretty stable, adhesive. Aroma: sugary, red berries, caramel, earthy, some chocolate, bit sourish. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: red berries, earthy, tobacco, citrus, lots of orange peel, spicy. Aftertaste: citrus, orange peel, bitter touch, very spicy, red berries, bit sugary.

33cl bottle from HopDuvel, BB 2015. Brune légère, col beige fin. Arôme levure et malt, léger fruité rouge laissant percer une fine note aigre-douce. Palais, malté caramel avec un petit côté grillé/aigre assez agréable. Le tout rappelant une version jeune d’une veille brune en devenir. Reste sèche, grains et fini léger aigre gardant ce côté poussiéreux et un profile stout qui reste discret.

Bottle @ Really late Summer Tasting Ulfborg, 2012. Pours unclear dark brown with a creamy head. Spices and dark malts. Caramel and mild roast. Sage and mint. Not entirely overdone.
