Bottle@home. Clear yellow / golden color, small white head. Smell some fruityness, not much more. Taste light sourness, slight bitterness and some fruits again. Average carbo, medium body. (Note: brewer says the 4,5% ABV version was a tryout!)

Clear very pale yellowish beer, practically no head, just a few bubbles. Aroma: bit fruity, some nasty chemical / band-aid smell, just as with the "Stout Bruintje", pretty nasty. MF: low carbon, light body. Taste: some citrus at first, then bitter, chemical taste, disinfectant. Aftertaste: watery, little bitter, weird chemical flavour again, bit sour. Infected? Guess so. I consider that a bad trademark.

Clear deep purple brown beer, small very light beige head, unstable, little adhesive. Aroma: weird unpleasant smell, rotten fruits, disinfectant, band-aid, rotten potatoes, just nasty. MF: low carbon, medium to full body. Taste: red sour berries up front, some weird grains or malts, little bit of mocha, citrus sour, weird chemical taste. Aftertaste: more sourness, red berries and band-aid glue, pretty nasty. Sorry, but a drain pour.

Little cloudy orange beer, creamy solid white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, sweet peaches, citrus fruits, some desinfectant, band-aid. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, citrus and grapefruit, little bit fruity, white grapes. Aftertaste: peaches, little sweet, grappa like bitterness, bitter ending with cinnamon and nutmeg in the end, but mainly some chemical / medicinal bitterness. Great, an uninfected beer from our Gaverhopke brewmistress. But if you think about it, the first batch is probably not infected, only because Alvinne left the installation completely clean when they moved out. :-p

Bottle @ home. Hazy brown color, off-white head. Smell sweet and something weird, almost smells like some perfume. Taste sweet, alcohol and also that same weirdness. Not good at all.

Clear light yellow beer; small white head. Infected nose, sourish, garden herbs - sour ones. Sour, moulded grains, wet grain left lying. Light body, overattenuated. Infected. Please rectify, a retasting might then be in order. Then again, with a name referring to the most sadistic of Flemish ’sports’...

Small, dense white head over dark chestnut beer. Scorched malts, liquorice, smelling bitter-sweet. Sourish flavour, utterly infected, resulting in a taste like herbs for paling in ’t groen (not a bad dish, but in a beer????) Light bodied, overattenuated probably thanks to the infection. God! A very serious overhaul of the installation is in order, IMO.

Good dense & fine, stable yellowish head over amber-orange beer with Grünstich. Good hops’ nose - even USA hops ? - and a serious bout of seafruit - lots of DMS, perhaps? - finishing with garden herbs and rhubarb aroma, if not sourish. Bitterish, indifferent, as from rather cheap bittering hops, but the result remains acceptable. Bananaester without the sweetness and in the finish, just a touch as of sesameoil. Quite spritzy, well-carbonated, medium bodied, but lacking in aftertaste - just some toasted grains. For a first try, more than acceptable. Maybe a more judicious choice of hops might help in the future.
