Keg at BD Mighty Boosh, 14/12/17. Black with a well presented tan head. Nose is bitter cacao nibs, menthol fumes, spice, earthy roast. Taste comprises dark chocolate, creme de menthe, liquorice, spice, roast malts, mint match makers. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Fun stout if a touch 1D ... couldn't drink a lot of this but delivered well in a third pint pour.

On keg at Brewdog, Bristol. Pours very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is peppermint cream, After Eights etc. The taste is dominated by peppermint essence which overpowers the roasted malts, dark choc. Medium bodied, average carb. Bitter peppermint finish. Interesting, won’t be loved by everyone
