Description
Established in 2014 by best mates Adam Edinborough & Rhys Watkins in Rhys' then Garden Shed in west Cardiff. Crafty Devil Brewing are Cardiff's alternative to the corporate mass producing breweries. A truly independent and staunchly proud Cardiff Brewery Crafty Devil Brewing are now brewing in Ninian Park Road, Canton, Cardiff.

Producing exciting, quality and tasty beers in the styles which Adam & Rhys want to drink. Crafty Devil believe that beer should be drank fresh, as locally as possible and made by people who love beer!

Can 440ml. @ home. [ As Crafty Devil Sweet Emotion ]. ABV: 6.0%. Murky medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, orange, fruity hops, dried fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, sweet fruit, dried fruit, fruity hops, medium dry, fruit peel. ABV: 4.5%. Clear light dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, roasted, coffee, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt, coffee, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20190722]

Hazy pale golden colour, good frothy off-white to white head, dissipating slowly, good lacing. Aroma pale malts, lemon, grapefruit, biscuit. Mild taste, medium sweet and bitter, malty, grapefruit, spicy notes. Sweetbitter aftertaste, orange pith, light chalky notes. Medium body, oily to watery texture, soft carbonation; fresh and friendly pale ale, nice.

Can from Cotteridge Wines and shared with the KL tasting crew. Poured a hazy straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is malt, lemon lime citrus, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a crisp, malt, citrus fruit, dry pepper spice, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
