Description
Lyme Regis Brewery was founded in 2010 as The Town Mill Brewery. The group of gents who established the brewery here at The Town Mill wanted to create award-winning cask ales right here in Lyme Regis, and to demonstrate the craft of brewing to visitors of the Town Mill.
Over the past decade, the brewery crafted a selection of fine ales which were available in cask and bottle throughout the region. The small brewery in the Malthouse at the Town Mill was moved to a larger production facility just outside of Lyme Regis to enable greater production.
In late 2014 the brewery was rebranded as Lyme Regis Brewery in an effort to grow the business and make the brand more synonymous with the Jurassic Coast.
Despite the hard work of the team who established the brewery, a decision was taken to pass on the ownership in the Autumn of 2018 due to poor sales. When four local mates heard of the opportunity, they decided to step in and take the helm.
Wes, Adam, Elliott and Dan took over running of the brewery on 1st December 2018, saving it from closure with a new vision and direction for what the brewery could be.

500ml bottle as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Light to mid-brown, mostly clear with a thin off-white head. Toffee, malt, a little tiny bit of prune, apple and sweet spice on the nose. Fairly bitter, but it doesnโt take over, with a woody funk leading to a dry finish. Medium body with slightly heavy carbonation. A pretty basic bitter thatโs actually pretty decent but forgettable.

50cl Fles van de brouwerij. Bijna zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Ruikt goed gebrand, pinda's, gebrand mout, verse koffie, vanille, zacht, redelijk romig, niet al te dun gezien het ABV. Lichte body. Prima.
