330ml bottle from Porters Liquor, Bexley. Golden amber colour, thin white foam head and tropical fruity citrus hop aroma. Taste is grainy, fruity, yeasty, with a boiled sweets note, some caramel, and light bitterness. Light bodied, medium carbonation, dry grainy finish. OK.

Translucent orange with a white head that’s soon less than a coat. Aroma of old lemons and guava, funky wheat. The fruit is really well integrated into the aroma and only slightly less so in the taste. Lightish and a bit slippery with lowish carbonation. Fruit and wheaty funk with old lemons. Not very sour at all - it could use a little more zip. But quite refreshing and nicely done. [edit] And after a while there is a little bitterness and the touch of salt Davros mentions

500ml bottle into pint glass. Randomly bought for me by my wife, which is nice. Clear mahogany red beer with pitted solid white head, many tiny bubbles. Laces well. Nose is dark smoky caramel. Viscous and smooth. Finish is long, long, long. Treacle toffee and raisins initially then the dry woody alcohol notes appear. Finally you are left with a hoppy bitterness. Great contemplative beer.
