Hazy amber beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy with decent fine carbonation. Light creamy malts, mild sweetness. Good floral lime, touch of lime peel. Mild pine. Light floral bitterness. Light semi dry finish. Limey linger. Nice but it gets a bit 1D with the lime.

Tap at Brewdog Sheffield. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin off white head. The aroma is light roasty, fake sugar, grassy hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a rich roasty, grassy hop, yeast palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Label states Test Batch # 1, although this beer was given a commercial release, along with a stick on label with a real name! Anyway, it pours pale gold, with a soft haze. Minimal head. Nose has fresh hop leaf. Melon rind. Some earthy hop notes. Light, clean grain. Light vegetal notes, too. Taste is clean, crisp, hop leaf bitter. Some dryness. Light body. Long bitter finish. Good, light bodied, refreshing beer.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Cloudy, dark orange. Film and dense halo of white. Nose has gooey malts. Lime jelly. Some spicy, orange hop. Very floral and perfumed. Taste is worty, biscuity sweet. Some lime pith bitterness. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Some sticky sweetness on the lips. More sweetness on the finish, with a pithy bitter close. Ok, albeit a bit sweet and malty.

Keg at The Rake. It pours hazy golden with a tiny fizzy white head. The aroma is fairly muted, grain, soured yoghurt, hay, smoked cheddar and a hint of stone fruits. The taste is crisp, tart, bracing acidity, grainy, quite a bit of celery and sour peach yoghurt with a dry, sort of acidic finish. Light - medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. It sounded so promising, but didn’t deliver. Melts the enamel a bit and it has that celery off-note.
