A bit underwhelming, but a reasonable drink nonetheless. The nose is a faint combination of malt and rye. The taste features mild Belgian yeast, soft malt, some rye, spices and sweetness. The high-medium and fizzy carbonation takes away from the taste, which is already pretty mild.

Moderate white-tan head on an Orange/cherry hue. Nose is prominent with butterscotch, citrus and bready malt. The zestiness of the rye works beautifully with rich malt, some spiciness and hints of caramel and light fruity hops. The hops linger, but are not out of proportion with the other tastes. A great Rye Pale Ale, and they accomplish great taste without too much alcohol. Arguably Canada’s best in this style.

473ml can. Pours a hazy gold yellow with a medium, foamy, short lived, white head that laces nicely. Mild fruity aroma of grainy wheat malt, orange peel, peach, mango and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy wheat malt, tangerine, pineapple, pear, mango, lime and floral hops in a crisp, dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a slick texture and average carbonation. Refreshing and easy to put back.

Can. Practically clear golden body with a white head. Aroma is refreshing citric fruit with a pale malty background. Flavor is soft pale malt, citric fruit, a hint of tropical fruit and grassy bitterness. Medium body and refreshing, slightly bitter aftertaste. A decent, uncomplicated thirst quencher.

biscuity, dry straw, very very very subtle lemon lime notes. I get that the citrus notes should be light, but this is SUPER light. I can barely tell the flavours are there. Watery, bland. Meh.
