Description
Gestart in 2000 met het hobbybrouwen hebben we veel bieren kunnen ontwikkelen. Het ene lekker en snel op, het andere wat minder en snel weg. Toch evolueerde het bier en het werd steeds beter gesmaakt door vrienden en familie. De installatie groeide ook van de 30l naar 100l en verder naar 200l. Sinds september 2015 is de brouwerij gestart. Klein en ambachtelijk maar met de volle goesting om de bierliefhebbers van lekkere en toegankelijke bieren te voorzien. Na onze start zijn we stapsgewijs gegroeid. in 2016 zijn er 2 nieuwe ketels bijgekomen (400 en 500 liter). Eind 2017 een nieuwe afvullijn. Zo werken we verder aan de uitbouw van onze brouwerij. Maar het ambachtelijke en toch constante kwaliteit leveren blijven vaste waardes naar de toekomst toe.

Bottle. Pours cloudy deep brown. Small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty, breadish. Bitter, toasted malty. Lingering caramelish. Toasted and dry malty finish.

Bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty, slight caramelish. Phenolic, toasted malty, slight caramelish. Toasted finish.

Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity. Phenolic. Toasted malty. Bitter and slight fruity. Medium dry and phenolic finish.

F: huge, egg-white, collapsing and average retention. C: deep gold, hazy. A: malt, light orange peels, spicy, honey, candy, bit of yeasty. T: candy, malty, orange peels, spicy, bit of honey, yeasty, medium to full body, medium carbonation, nothing special but good enjoyable, 33cl bottle from ZBF 2017 Leuven.

F: huge, off-white, good retention. C: dark, opaque. A: malt, light coffee, cocoa, chocolate, dark bread, a bit of fruity. T: malt, roasted malt, light mocha, chocolate, cocoa, quite dry on the palate, decent bitterness, good, enjoyed, medium body, medium carbonation, 33cl bottle from ZBF 2017 Leuven.

F: thin, white, quick diminishing. C: orange gold, hazy. A: malt, orange peels, spicy, hint of vegetable, orange. T: malt, orange, rubbery, spicy, orange peels, light candy, there are traces of DMS, medium body, medium carbonation, not very good, not enjoyed, 33cl bottle from ZBF 2017 Leuven.

At zythos 2017. Pours caramelbrown. Small white head smell is rich, gingerbread , complex dark sugars. Taste is bit roasty, crisp, bermalts underneath a layer of roast. Ok

At zythos 2017. Pours rather clear amberblonde. Small white head. Smell is bit sweet, mild maltyness. Taste is bit sweet. Bit malty. Ok. Pretty average allround.
