Bottle pours deep black with moderate tan head that quickly reduces to lace. Aromas hint of chocolate and coffee but a slightly sweet taste of figs and whiskey dominates which slowly reveals subtle flavors of roasted coffee, chocolate, cherry, and more. Perfectly creamy, wonderfully complex, thoroughly enjoyable.

12oz can from Guess Who?. Nose is citrus, pine, pineapple, and mango. Yellow with a big white head. Flavor is balanced sweetness and bitterness with tropical fruitiness.

12 oz bottle from Guess Who? Bentonville, AR. Nose is chocolate, vanilla, coffee, and a bit of bourbon. Black with a medium tan head. Flavor is sweet cocoa, coffeeish, with bits of vanilla and bourbon.

Bought locally, bottled February 9th 2026.
Pours a very dark brown with red hues, finger of tan foam, good retention and lacing.
Smell is sweet malt, Bourbon, roasted malt, vanilla, molasses.
Taste is malty, sweet and roasted, Bourbon, vanilla, little to no bitterness.
Body is on the thin side, I would not bother drinking this again.

Bottle, 2025 vintage. Rich chocolate brownie aroma with notes of lactose sugar, roasted malt, vanilla, oak and bourbon. Pours deep brown with a thin mocha brown head that has little retention and very little lacing. Starts with rich chocolate brownie, lactose sugar and roasted malt flavors as well as having a rich, full body and silky smooth mouthfeel. Finishes impeccably smooth with vanilla, oak and bourbon flavors. Excellent and as advertised.

12 oz. bottle, pours a dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma has toasted malt, gentle oak barrels, and some earthiness. Flavour is pretty flimsy, with a thin toasted malt character, some wood, some earthiness, and a touch of vanilla. Thin, flimsy, lacking complexity. Inoffensive but lacking anything pleasant.

Amber-brown. This has a decent slightly toffeeish, caramelly malt character. Light body for its style, but it's got a touch of wood. Just feels light, and lacking in complexity.

Poured from (probably 355mL, not labelled) bottle (bb 16 April 2028). Medium dark chestnut brown with small light beige head. Lightly woody, malty, feint vanilla, gives some scotch ale vibes. Don't get bourbon notes, quite average.

355mL bottle. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Light brown sugars, some dark malts, and boozy sugars on the nose. Flavour has tons of boozy sugars, very rough, splintered wood. This is just rough and uncoordinated. Not good.

From Liquor Shed, part of a mixed 6pack, bottled February 8th.
It pours a lovely clear crimson red with a finger of foam. Retention and lacing are first class.
The smell is caramel malt, big woody notes, alcohol, and the barrel, which seems to be the same aroma as the other 2 beers in the 6pack.
The taste is sweet caramel, wood, leather (yuck), booze, oh my. I reiterate that the BAging is so similar to the other 2 beers and I find it quite unacceptable to my palate.
Mouthfeel is fine, I would never drink this again.
