Bottle. Clear amber with a 1/2" white head. Bread crust and fresh cut pine aroma with kumquat peel and minor tropical notes. 7+ Medium bodied, carbonation is just on the low side if moderate. Seems quite sweet with bread crust and tropical fruit but resinous bitterness grips soon enough and leaves pine and tenor register citrus at the end. A little old fashioned perhaps, but pretty good. Not as good as the old (long discontinued, at least in bottle) IPA was when fresh.

Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles' place. Thanks troubles. Hazy yellow. Graininess, citric hops, slightly dusty, minerals, a bit of sweetish malt, bitterish finish.

From a 640ml bottle on 15/4/2018 (shared with Butz). The aroma features light fruity hops. The flavour is also primarily fruity (mainly citrus) with not much malt present, with a pretty big spicy, dry rye bitterness. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Reasonably enjoyable without really inspiring.

Bottle. Started about 10C, liked it more as it warmed a little. Clear orangish amber with a white head. Aroma of grapefruit, orange, mango skin, hints of Thai spices as well as rye-like spices. A bit of (Tusk-like) feijoa too. Has the old Mountain Goat alive smoothness, although carbonation is a bit higher than I like. Sweet with light bread and some cooked peach before firm citrus, pine and spices grip. Dries out gradually with fairly high bitterness.

Bottle at Dan's 10K, thanks to Wingymane. It pours lightly hazy golden with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, pithy lime action, zesty, oily and some doughy bread. The taste is dry, bitter, fresh, pithy, zesty, oily, green, grassy, lime, grapefruit and kumquat with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Decent gear with a nice zingy lime vibe.

Nose is grassy, pine, orange pith, grapefruit zest, straw. Taste comprises light floral notes, lime juice, geass, air malts, orange pith, toasted grains. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced hop bitterness. Decent enough easy drinking DIPA.

Bottle. Almost clear gold with a modest white head. Aroma of dough, mildly funky spices, oranges. Light bodied and fairly highly carbonated. Crackery dough, moderate sweetness. Mild funk, spices and oranges. Dry finish with modest bitterness (would have guess higher than 16ibu though). Not deep but very pleasant. Refreshing with a bit of intrigue.
