Bottle, Courtesy MP, via NYC. Thank ya ! Funky lookin label. Poured an amber copper colour with a medium white head. Some grassy hop in the aroma, nothing major though. All quite low key in the flavour, which is not really hoppy enough for this style, hence the fact this was slightly on the thin side. Drinkable but lacking pizzazz.

Bottle. So this is the last part of a slummin’ with light beers night. Pour is a little darker (yellow) than the previous ratings, but head is virtually nonexistent. Aromas are a robust mix of straw and grain (well, by robustI mean for the company this keeps.) Flavor is an annoyingly sweet mix of malt and straw... not even grass, but that sweet and obnoxious smell you get from an old bale of slightly wet straw. Still, in comparison with some of its AB peers, this is a best in class for the night. I won’t be back ever again, but my Abita Light experience wasn’t completely awful.

Pours with a decent sized, off-white head. Clear light brown body. Head diminishes but leeaves some light lacicng. Aroma of pecans and other nuts with some light cereal. Extremeely watery taste with some nuts...Could have been a lot better. Kind of a mix of astringent malts. Fizzy and dry.

Beer tasted at mcbackus tasting. Pours clear copper with tan head. The aroma is rich yummy nuttiness with medium roasted malts in the background. Very nutty aroma. The taste has the same rich nuttiness as noted in the nose to go along with medium roasted malts and finishing with a drying malt and nutty astringency. Tasty brew that seduces with the nose.

This ale poured a very deep brown colour with a nice creamy, tan coloured head. Not much in the scent dept. Scents include brown sugar, caramel and an earthy note. First taste was smooth with flavours of cramel and dark malt. Finish was very malty and the palate very slightly bitter with a small amount of hopp flavour. Not bad.

12 oz draft at Epcot during the Food and Wine festival. Pour is slightly hazed golden, with just a touch of blueish purple peeking through. Aroma of light raspberry fruit, actually nice natural smell - just not much of it. Taste is tart wheat with a covering of the raspberry. Taste of the fruit was less natural tasting versus the nose. Overall, decent and drinkable.
