25cl on tap at Brussel Beer Cafe, KL. Black with a creamy light brown nitro head. Quite strange herbal aroma with mint dominates over the malt and caramel. Very little roasted aroma. Strange stout, herbal with a light bitterness in the finish. A bit watery. (2012-05-05)

33cl Can bought in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. Clear deep golden colour, white head. Aroma is sweet, apple juice, caramel, artificial. Tastes the same, too sweet, not great. Light bodied, oily mouthfeel.

50cl bottle at Red Market in Penang, Malaysia Good off white head. Thick dark pour. A nice stout, especially after all the boring lagers round here

A deep dark brown stout with a thick collapsing brown head. In aroma, a nice chocolate and licorice mix, with light maple notes, alcohol warmth. In mouth, a sweetish bitter chocolate with coffee grinds, alcohol warmth, a bit simple but overall, a good Asian foreign stout. 320 ml can from a supermarket in Singapore, tasted July 5 2011.

A decent stout, actually expected a lot less since I got it from a 7-11 in Malaysia. A good accompaniment to a nighttime stroll around Chinatown in Kuala Lampur watching the market get packed up.

330 ml can. Golden body with a white head. A bit weak aroma of grain and malt, but otherwise nothing wrong here. Flavor is mild, refreshing fruity, light malty and some hops, not particular bitter. Totally drinkable thirst-quencher but nothing exiting, just like thousands of other industrial pilsners like this.

Dull tan. Big bubbles. No head. Dish soap lemon aroma. Lots of sugar. Lemony and sticky. I’ll give credit though - unlike Anglia Shandy this one actually has a tiny bit of beer character. Not much, just a shade of malt on the tongue, but a tiny bit of beer character nonetheless.
